Painted Kitchen Utensils // DIY Inspiration

I've been inspired by all the creative, hand painted kitchen utensils I've seen floating around the internet lately, and I really wanted to create some for myself.

Supplies: You'll need wooden kitchen utensils, craft paint, paint brushes, and a food-safe sealer.
For this project, I chose black, white, and gold craft paint. I added some color blocks to the ends of the spoons and some various polka dots throughout. Once it dried, I simply sealed it with a food-safe sealer. voilà! You've some pretty, new utensils.

This project is really a no-brainer, but it is a really nice way to spruce up your kitchen drawers. Have you done this? If so, share the link!

  8. I have a couple tubes of acrylic craft paint--do you think that would work the same way? I'm not sure I'll do the cutting board (although yours looks DANG cute together!) but the spoons are doable, and I have TONS of those!
