Spring Inspired Tote Makeover

The weather here is finally starting to become warm, making me want to buy/make/wear everything spring related. Here's a simple tote I restyled for the spring and summer. Enjoy!

Supplies: Tote bag, faux flowers, paint.
Pantry Supplies: Paint brush, needle + thread

Begin by painting a phrase in the middle of the front of the tote. I chose "GO Outside".  Next, begin cutting off flower stems and sewing pieces of flowers in a circle around the wording. Finish by securing all the loose ends of the stems with the needle and thread, and add small various flowers throughout.
